DocuShare Archive Assistant

The DocuShare Archive Assistant is used to set the expiration_date property with the date you want the document to move from your production DocuShare server to the DocuShare Archive Server.  This date can be set relative to the create_date or modified_date properties the system generates.  This accommodates different file plans you establish for each of your object types including generic documents, invoices, contracts, orders, etc.  We can also set another property we generally name as the deletion_date property so that you can clear your content out of the DocuShare Archive Server when you no longer want or need to retain them using our included Expunger tool.  That's something you can't do with Xerox' Lifecycle Manager.  We'll show you how to place holds on documents that should be retained until cleared for legal or conformance purposes.  Our DocuShare Archive Assistant is a tremendous bargain that you can easily set up yourselves.

This overview gives you a peek under the hood of ABBYY FlexiCapture for Invoices from both a project builder's and a user's point of view.  Two custom features are included which show how you can catch duplicate invoices and invoices which have a total greater than the amount allowed by the purchase order.  Also covered is our interface with Xerox DocuShare using our DAVupDoc middleware for fast and versatile automated filing.  Watch for our video covering how to use DocuShare for approving or rejecting invoices that go over the amount in the purchase order or have no PO# associated with the invoice.
