FabSoft Reform

Refine and redirect your print to
email, fax, and DocuShare
This has traditionally been a very expensive task to undertake
for companies, redirecting their hardcopy reports to an archive
and retrieval system. Now you can increase your efficiency
and lower your internal costs by generating searchable Acrobat
PDFs and editable RTF (Rich Text Format) documents that can be
modified my most word processing packages. Imagine being
able to drop your reports into DocuShare and letting it notify
those who need them via email. They click on the link to
the report, log in (manually or automatically), and read them
online or print only the pages they need. DocuShare's
routing feature can also kick off a formal workflow process to
make sure everyone works with the information in the reports as
necessary.
In addition to archiving in DocuShare and a few other
repositories, you can also shoot invoices and purchase orders
out by fax or email to your customers and suppliers.
Reform is sold in three packages: Freeware, Standard, and
Enterprise. Reform Enterprise has the archival and email
features you'll want. But wait! There's more!
Reform comes with a great forms designer that allows you to use
your current output in ASCII, EBCDIC, PCL, and PostScript and
flexibly reformat your print to merge with form overlays
including your corporate logo and choice of fonts. It
supports front and back printing, MICR printing, barcodes, and
more. Reform includes a spooler that ensures your reports
are recognized and properly formatted and processed. You
can set up Reform Enterprise to work as an advanced print
server to capture print-flow originating from any operating
system; DOS, Windows, Unix, AS/400, etc., then process the
information through its spooler program located on a Windows
server or dedicated workstation.
Most people pay between $20K and $200K for this type of capability.
Reform costs start under $4K. If you're a small to
medium size business that's looking to compete with larger
firms, Reform Enterprise will help to level the playing field.
